My controller is able to connect to other devices in the manner that it should and function properly.Īny help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
This may be because of a multiple other USB connections and a secondary monitor on a computer with only 8GB of ram. And even when it’s connected through USB, games inputs are nowhere near as fast or responsive as they were/should be, although This would be fine if it were not for me having to constantly asking others if I can borrow their micro USB cable as I don’t have one. When I connect my controller via USB cable it shows up under other devices as “Controller” I’ve checked for updates on my computer and I updated my controller through the Xbox Accessories app but nothing changed.
WIRELESS XBOX ONE CONTROLLER FOR PC DRIVER
When I bring up the properties of the controller in Device Manager and click device details, it says "Xbox Wireless Controller: No driver files are required or have been loaded for this device." This happens every time I remove “Xbox Wireless Controller” from the devices menu (in both Bluetooth settings and in control panel: devices & printers) and then either turn off and on Bluetooth or reboot my device.įrom the device manager, in >Bluetooth>Xbox Wireless Controller, I tried updating the driver (nothing happened) and uninstalling the device but even after reboot, reset of Bluetooth, and scan for hardware changes (in device manager), IT STILL I’ve tried removing the device and adding it manually (with and without pressing the connect button on the controller) but nothing seems to work.Īfter turning the controller and Bluetooth off, when I turn Bluetooth back on I get a notification saying windows is “Setting up” and that my controller is “Ready to go” while my controller is off.
I have used this controller on my device before. When I try to connect my controller, it shows as paired in the Bluetooth menu but the controller never connects, it keeps flashing away. My Wireless Xbox Controller is currently unable to pair correctly to my win10 device through Bluetooth.
